At Hazelwood, our wide range of Upper School trips plays a pivotal role in enriching each pupil’s learning experience, by providing real-world context and fostering independence.
 

In the upper years, trips become more varied and exciting, with numerous opportunities to participate in residential trips, encouraging social development and the chance to make some wonderful memories.

Residential trips are a great place for pupils to learn to navigate new surroundings, manage their time and collaborate with their peers outside of the familiar classroom setting. These experiences contribute to the development of essential life skills, including problem-solving, adaptability and decision-making. 

Exposure to new experiences can spark a pupil’s sense of curiosity, encouraging them to explore subjects beyond the classroom and ultimately broaden their perspective.
